Eletrobras said on Tuesday that its board of directors has chosen to suspend the company’s migration project to B3’s Novo Mercado this year due to the macroeconomic scenario and market conditions.
In 2023, the company will again analyze the right time for migration, he added.
In a statement, Eletrobras also communicated that its board should propose to the resolution of the shareholders, in a general meeting, the redemption of all the “class A” preference shares of the company and the incorporation of shares of subsidiaries (Chesf, CGT Eletrosul, Furnas and Eletronorte).
“The actual filing of the PNA stock redemption and subsidiary stock merger, including the redemption price, exchange ratios and other terms and conditions of such matters, remain under management’s review, including the approval of the respective management proposals ” .
