The new Netflix series ‘That ’90s Show,’ a continuation of the 1998 sitcom ‘That ’70s Show,’ has won its first trailer and release date, according to its stream announcement on Tuesday (29).
Kurtwood Smith and Debra Jo Rupp, interpreters of Red and Kitty Forman, who lived the parents of Eric Forman (Topher Grace), the narrative center of the attraction during seven of the eight seasons of the series, return in their original roles. Older characters from the original cast, they will now be the grandparents of the new protagonist.
The plot of the sequel will take place in 1995 and will accompany Leia Forman, daughter of Eric and Donna (Laura Prepon), who, visiting her grandparents in the summer, begins to relate to a new generation of teenagers in Point Place, Wisconsin. , under the care of Kitty’s watchful eye and Red’s severe, almost manipulative gaze.

The trailer, which you can see below, has yet to win a Portuguese release. The first images of the series focus on veteran characters Kurtwood Smith and Debra Jo Rupp and introduce the new young protagonists as they interact with the familiar settings of Point Place.
