______________________________

Looks like the Netflix hit Stranger Things is going to have to move. The new series “Wednesday” from director Tim Burton has broken the record for views of English-language shows on the famous streaming platform. In the first week after the premiere of the spin-off “The Addams Family” was viewed more than 341.2 million times.

Note that the dance of the main character Wednesday Addams, which she performs at the school disco in the fourth series, instantly became a real cultural phenomenon and a viral trend on social networks. In a recent interview with Netflix, Wednesday’s Jenna Ortega told fans that she choreographed the choreography herself, not being a professional dancer. According to the actress, she was inspired by the British rock band Siouxsie and the Banshees, actress Lisa Loring, who played Wednesday in the black-and-white Addams Family from 1964 to 1966, as well as the gothic club culture of the 80s.

In fact, I felt very constrained,” Ortega admitted. – I did this choreography myself, and I think now it is quite obvious that I am far from being a dancer.

Tim Burton’s Wednesday premiered on Netflix on November 23rd. The plot of the show revolves around the daughter of Gomez and Morticia Addams, who is forced to settle into a new school. However, Wednesday ends up in an unusual educational institution: vampires, werewolves and serens study here, and strange and terrible things happen in the neighboring town.

Note that the Addams family was created in 1938 by the American artist Charles Addams as newspaper comics.
