On the first day of CCXP22, the highlight was the Disney panel, which was split into different studios and productions. Those present at Palco Thunder were able to watch unpublished trailers of awaited productions and even exclusive scenes.
After presenting an exciting clip celebrating 100 years of Disney, followed by the trailer for “Mundo Estranho”, already shown in cinemas. This moment served as a call for Pixar producer Denise Ream, who arrived at CCXP22 to talk about the studio’s ambitious forthcoming “Elementos”.
“Elementos,” which will be released in theaters in June, is still in production, but the producer showed exclusive scenes from the film, which only those present at the Thunder Stage could honor. Then, perhaps the biggest surprise of the day: actor Pedro Pascal appeared at the Lucasfilm presentation, something we didn’t expect.
In addition to the presence of the actor from “The Mandalorian” which caused great emotion among the CCXP22 audience, Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau, respectively director and writer of the series, entered the conversation remotely and revealed that they are working on the new series by Ahsoka Tano. Then, the duo also announced the trailer for ‘Indiana Jones and the Call of Destiny’, as well as unveiling the name of the film itself.
The premiere date for ‘The Mandalorian’ season 3, which will arrive on Disney+ on March 1, 2023, has also been revealed.
As if so many surprises and sneak peeks weren’t enough, 20th Century Studios began its presentation focused on “Avatar: The Water Path”, with the presence of actress Zoë Saldaña and director Jon Landau. In addition, 18 minutes of the film were screened, exclusively for the audience, starring a hitherto unknown Pandora.
Finally, the Disney panel closed the day in a golden key with the presentation of Marvel Studios, which was attended by boss Kevin Feige. Zoë Saldaña returned to the stage for the presentation of the exclusive trailer for “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3”, which arrived with a parting tone.
Also honored at the event was ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania’, the film that opens Phase 5 of the MCU, with director Peyton Reed and lead actors Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly and Jonathan Majors in attendance. A special clip was presented during the event:
CCXP22 continues with three more days of events, from December 1st to 4th at São Paulo Expo, and new surprises and unforgettable panels are sure to come.
