The PSV and Laranja Mecânica striker is in the sights of several European giants

Forward Cody Gakpo is one of the highlights of the Holland and the Qatar World Cup🇧🇷 The 23-year-old, currently at PSV Eindhoven, is targeted by several European giants, such as Manchester United, coached by Dutch colleague Erik ten Hag.

However, the Orange Mecânica number eight was sincere when he spoke about his future, stating that he will only think about a possible move to another club in Europe in January, after the end of the World Cup. Gakpo has already scored three goals in this edition of the World Cup.

– To be honest, I don’t think about it now. I’m really focused on the tournament and I try to do my best, I keep helping the team and I hope we become world champions. Then I think of something else – said Gakpo.

Even without a goal from Gakpo, the Netherlands beat the United States 3-1 this Saturday and qualified for the quarter-finals of the World Cup in Qatar. The Dutch will face Argentina next Friday, at 16:00 (Brasilia time).
