Ex-Athletico, Corinthians and São Paulo mourned on social media
Esmael da Silva, known as Titi, died at the age of 62 this Sunday in Londrina, Paraná. The man was the father of former player Jadson, who had notable passes through Corinthians, Athlético-PR and São Paulo.
On his Instagram profile, the former midfielder changed his profile picture to an image with “mourning” written in black. In the stories, Jadson also posted information about the burial, which took place this Sunday.
Titi has always played a very important role in his son’s career. In an interview with “Ge” in 2019, Jadson opened up about his relationship with his father.
– My father is an idol for me, the boy who took me to play football with him in Londrina since I was four. I took a lot of example from him with friends and playing football, I tried to bring him into my life and into my children’s education. I’ve never had problems in football, where I’ve gone I haven’t created any problems, he’s a point of reference for me,” he said.
Jadson retired from football in August this year but played the last game of his career before that in May for Vitória. He was a two-time Brazilian champion with Corinthians and won the Copa Sudamericana with São Paulo in 2012.
