Chris Rock’s Mom Calls For Will Smith’s Oscar Ban: ‘You Won’t Go Every Year’

Chris Rock’s mother Rose Rock shares her thoughts that Will Smith slapped her son at the 2022 Oscars a month later.

Rock, author and motivational speaker, said WIS That the comedian is doing well but is “still working” on the incident that prompted Smith to resign from the academy. He added that he didn’t think the apology Smith posted on his Instagram account on the second day of the ceremony was real. “I feel really bad that he never apologized,” Rock said. “His people wrote the article and said, ‘I apologize to Chris Rock,’ but this is personal. You are going”.
