Robert Patrick knows that some social media users are enjoying the newly unveiled statue of Baker Mayfield of the Oklahoma Sooners.
The award was presented Friday at OU’s Heisman Park, with the winner of the NFL’s pedestal Heisman in attendance. According to some, the statue bears little resemblance to Mayfield. Instead, several social media users said it looked more like the T-1000 played by Robert Patrick. Terminator 2: Judgment Day.
Patrick, arguably best known for playing the (almost) unstoppable liquid metal assassin of the future, also caught attention, sharing a series of friendly conversations about sculptures. Patrick is a big fan of Cleveland Browns team Mayfield, which he mentioned in a tweet comparing the statue to the T-1000.
