The protagonist of such iconic titles as ‘Look who’s talking’ or the series ‘Cheers’, has died as a result of a recently discovered cancer.
“We are saddened to announce that our amazing and loving mother has passed away after a battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her closest family and she fought hard. She was just as iconic on screen as she was an amazing mother and grandmother in real life. She leaves us with the certainty because of her inexhaustible joy of living the adventures that always remain to come. […] The enormous enthusiasm and passion for his life, his children, grandchildren and animals, not to mention his undying joy in creating, is unparalleled and leaves us so inspired to live life to the fullest.” This has been announced through a statement by their children, William True and Lillie Parker, the death of Kirstie Alley at 71 years old. The actress has died as a result of a recently discovered colon cancer and which she was being treated at the Moffit Cancer Center, a specialty hospital in Florida.

Winner of two Emmy Awards, Kirstie rose to fame with the comedy ‘Look Who’s Talking,’ in which she starred with John Travolta. Among other of her most iconic titles are the series ‘Cheers’, where she got into the shoes of Rebecca Howe, the manager of the bar in which the story took place; or the ‘Star Trek’ saga, with which she practically began her career. The last work of hers was the 2020 TV movie ‘You Can’t Take My Daughter’
