The problems that occurred on the set of ‘Wednesday’

Just a few days ago, Netflix surprised fans of ‘Wednesday’ with a funny video of outtakes in which we could see Jenna Ortega laughing on the set of the series. The actress who plays the daughter of the Addams family in Tim Burton’s fiction smiled frequently and made jokes with her co-stars, although now we have learned that not all fThey laughed during the recording of the series.

Apparently, there was a big problem on the set: the planes! It is seen that a large part of the locations of ‘Wednesday’ (located in Romania, by the way), were near airports, because there were planes passing over the actors constantly, making a lot of noise and stopping their scenes. The proof of this is in a new and extensive video that Netflix has published about the ‘bloopers’ of the series:

“If you snarl at it loud enough, it will disappear,” says Jenna Ortega off-camera, as a noisy plane flies overhead in the video cutting out her scene. Luis Guzman, who plays Gomez Addams, his father, also humorously takes the interruption of another plane during one of his scenes. “The plane. The plane!”, ironically the actor in the video.

The passage of noisy planes on the set of ‘Wednesday’ was not the only setback that the actors had to face during the recording of the series. Did you know, for example, that Jenna Ortega couldn’t go to the bathroom in her character’s wardrobe? The actress, who had to wear a neoprene suit under her clothes every day, had to go to the series’ styling managers to make a hole in it, in the groin area to, mmm, facilitate the stuff. Curious right?
