Andre Edelbrock and Trevor Clarke, Founders of idtech Ethoca, Arrive to Leverage Expansion Strategy
CAF, Brazilian idtech considered one of unicorn’s main rivals To separate, is strengthening its board of directors with more world-class executives. With that, Andre and Trevor rejoin a company together with Darryl Clarke, current CEO of CAF and the other founder of ethicsa startup to fight e-commerce fraud that was already operating in 40 countries when it was acquired by MasterCard in 2019.
After the purchase of ethicswhere he was CEO from 2025 to 2019, Andre served at MasterCard as executive vice president from 2019 to 2021. According to the new board member, CAF is today one of the most promising companies in the world, redefining anti-fraud technologies.

In turn, Trevor Clarke was the name behind the tech team at ethicswhere he has served as CTO since the startup’s founding in 2005. “I look forward to working alongside this brilliant group of individuals as they build on their success and execute their global growth strategy.”
Despite the novelty, it is not the first time that the two have collaborated with the CAF🇧🇷 In July, they were part of an investment round that injected more than R $ 80 million into idtech. The group also had the managing director of NielsenIQJames Peck, and former CEO of Lexis NexisAndrew Prozes.
Focus on internationalization
Since then, to support its growth plan, CAF hires domestic and foreign executives with proven global experience. Former-Visa And GBG groupEmma Lindley arrived to spearhead international expansion, while Jason Howard (ex-ethics) assumed the position of Chief Revenue Officer.
In addition, Alexandre Brito, former CEO and consultant of Fintech Magalùjoined the board of directors to expand the business in Brazil and abroad, and Vanita Pandey (formerly Visa And Arkose laboratories) was hired to lead the company’s marketing strategies.
Currently, idtech has offices in Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, London, Toronto and Austin, as well as a headquarters in Venâncio Aires, Rio Grande do Sul. In 2022, the company hired more than 100 professionals in Brazil and around the world and saw a 54% increase in its headcount.
