The next Netflix documentary you should not miss is coming out in May. “Our Father for All” tells the true story of a fertility doctor who fertilized patients with his own sperm without their consent.
Take out your blogs! Netflix is preparing to offer a terrifying new documentary that should appeal to crowds and people who love contemplating real stories on platforms like The Keepers and Tiger King or more recently The Tinder Scammer and Bad Vegan.
In a completely different register, our father tells us all the story of Dr. Donald Klein, a former fertility doctor who for years used his own sperm to fertilize patients without their knowledge. At least 50 children were born from these forced donations in the 1970s and 1980s.
Terrible to see a doctor
That is why the documentary produced by Bloomhouse tells this thought-provoking story by showing these children who, after conducting DNA tests, discovered the truth. Then they discovered that they had many siblings and that they were the descendants of Dr. Donald Klein, a true medical institute and the best infertility specialist in Indiana.
Scheduled for Netflix on May 11, “Our Father to All” offers new acquaintances for these traitorous and broken families whose trust has been abused by a doctor who, according to unpublished testimonies, would have had dubious motives. A philanthropist and religious man, Dr. has given birth to many blonde, blue-eyed children, the perfect clan of the Aryan race, as one of his daughters points out, wanting him to pay for this crime.
But the victim struggled to be heard and get justice at the time because it was not recognized as a crime, even if it was indeed a sexual offense. The doctor retired in 2009 and was found guilty in 2017 of delaying an investigation for cheating investigators into using his own sperm.
In 2018, Dr. Klein lost his license, and the Indiana Medical Licensing Board upheld his right to reapply for a license. He was sentenced to one year probation for violating justice, but never had to use sperm without the consent of patients, as no state law prohibited it.
Indiana will need to become the first state by 2019 to pass legislation that criminalizes the use of its own sperm by fertility doctors without the consent of patients. The bill was passed thanks to Matt White, one of Donald Klein-born babies.
The most horrible thing is that these children live close to each other in the forbidden zone and pray every day that they have never had a relationship with one or one half brother or half sister. You should know that Dr. Donald Klein is not the only fertility doctor in the world who has used his own sperm to fertilize his patients, and that this is unfortunately a common practice in the United States.
We can bring doctors Cecil Bayran Jacobson to Virginia, Philip Peven to Michigan or Maurice Wortman to New York State. This also happened in Europe in the case of Jan Carbat, a doctor and former director of the Sperm Bank of the Netherlands.
