On April 20, the Turkish TV series Yakamoz S-245 landed on Netflix. Adaptation of the novel Old Axolotl The first season of these seven episodes by Polish author Jacek Ducay tells the story of a biologist in an underwater boat who confronts a political conspiracy as a natural disaster destroys the surface.
The Yakamoz S-245, conceived by Belgian screenwriter Jason George, is a spin-off of the Into the Night series, also based on a novel by Jacek Dukaj. Launched on Netflix in the spring of 2020, this series, set in a post-apocalyptic future, represents a world in which the sun’s rays would be deadly to humans.
The camera shot of the Yakamoz S-245 is mostly on a submarine. And if it were entirely possible to reproduce these kits in the studio, it is still in a lunar-class vessel used from the scout phases above the filming and located in the Aegean Sea along the Turkish side. Turned the series upside down.
A lucrative choice in terms of authenticity, which of course explains why the Yakamoz S-245 Series has been at the forefront of consulting on Netflix since this weekend!
