‘The Abyss’
Years before the water shooting of “Avatar 2”, James Cameron had already ventured to create another water world in this science fiction and mystery film.
“The Abyss” transports the audience to an underwater drilling rig. At that location, a SEAL team discovers an alien species while trying to keep their rig from sinking into the dark depths of the ocean.

“Atlantis: The Lost Empire”
The Disney animated film failed to be a success at the box office, but it is a great choice to enjoy with the family and get to know the mythical kingdom of Atlantis together.
In this film, the curious Milo is part of a group of explorers who find the lost continent of Atlantis.
His innocence and drive for adventure allows him to form a friendship with that kingdom’s princess Kida. However, their relationship can get in the way of the rest of the gang’s plans.
“Atlantis: The Lost Empire,” as it was known in Latin America, is available on Disney+.
Aquaman
The DC Cinematic Universe also has its own version of the underwater world of Atlantis thanks to the movie starring Jason Momoa.

‘Waterworld’
In this film, Kevin Costner plays a marine half-human, half-fish hybrid who is determined to find solid ground in a post-apocalyptic world where everything is flooded.
