The mystery of Star Wars from The Empire Strikes Back is revealed in this scene from episode 2

How did Boba Fett find Han Solo’s millennial falcon in the Empire’s retaliatory blow and tail it? The answer to this question can be found in “Clone Attack”!

We are in the middle of The Empire Strikes Back, episode V of the Star Wars saga and everything is hot for the Millennium Falcon! After Captain Neda’s Imperial Cruiser and his TIE warriors attempt to cross the asteroid field and then hide in the stomach of a giant worm, Han Solo’s ship is again in dire straits.

Even though the situation seems hopeless and you are faced with the impossibility of going into hyperspace, the smuggler decides to try everything for a trick and turns around. After sinking on the cruiser, he cautiously lands in his cabin, in a blind spot, thus avoiding enemy radars.

After a few scenes, when the danger disappears, Han Solo and Leia will finally be able to escape from the fleet and spin silently with the remnants of the empire. However, when they thought they were in complete danger, the ship began to follow them. Boba Fett, who has decided to deliver Han Solo to Jaba Hat in the bonus pocket.

But how is it that a fortune teller was the only one who was able to see the Millennium Falcon and thwart Solo’s intrigue? Just because he was already struck a few years ago when he was still a child.

Indeed, in the attack of the clones, especially at the end of an impressive space duel between Obi-Wan Kenobi and Django Fet (Boba’s father), the latter eventually lost track of Jedi, who managed to hide and landed silently on the asteroid. .

So the strategy has already proven itself, but twice did not deceive the young Boba, as Visual Effects Director John Knoll explains in the audio commentary for Episode II:

“One of the aspects of the scene that I liked was the escape of Obi-Wan hiding behind an asteroid. He explains. “The Millennium Falcon does the same trick in The Empire Strikes Back. But who wouldn’t cheat on that trick? Bobby Fett. And why is that? Because we’ve already done that trick on him here.”

Another proof that Boba is a strong opponent who systematically learns from his failures. Also note that the other scene from the Clone Attack, in which Django Fetti participates, also opens up a specific detail of the original trilogy.

After a hand-to-hand duel with Obi-Wan on the camino, the fortune-teller really kicks himself when he gets back on his ship. This is a small chapter on Stormtrooper, who also hit the door in episode IV. Knowing that Jango Feti is the genetic father of all the soldiers of the Empire, it is normal that the latter inherited this little inconvenience.
