However, on one of these occasions the chosen one is Eddie, a man who hates the appointment. Now, in addition to all the already traditional work that the party requires, a pair of elves will have to train it to perform this task well.
With a light and funny text, Santa in training it is the right option to watch with family.
8. Christmas landscape

7. Love doesn’t go on vacation
Speaking of novels set at Christmas, Love doesn’t go on vacation is indispensable in this marathon.
In the film we follow two women who are frustrated with their love lives and who therefore decide to move house to breathe fresh air and spend the end of the year with a different energy: Iris (Kate Winslet) goes to Los Angeles, while Amanda (Cameron Diaz) goes to London. What they both didn’t expect is that a novel could knock on their door in this magical period.
In addition to an entertaining and romantic plot, the film features a strong cast with Cameron Diaz, Jude Law and Kate Winslet.
6. The origin of the Guardians
Leaving the novels and moving on to animation, this 2012 film tells the story of North, a modern Santa Claus, full of tattoos and fashionable clothes. He is part of the Guardians, a group of magical beings including the Tooth Fairy and the Easter Bunny, whose goal is to turn commemorative dates into memorable occasions for children.
It turns out that Breu, an evil spirit, intends to turn all the children’s dreams into nightmares, leaving them full of fear.
To fight this adversary, the Guardians will have the help of Jack Frost, an invisible boy who controls winter, but first they will have to train the boy, since he doesn’t know how to use his powers.
5. A Christmas full of grace

The film tells the story of Carlinhos, a boy in love with his girlfriend who discovers on Christmas Eve that he has been cheated on. Desolate, he wanders aimlessly on the street and accidentally runs into Graça, a fiery and exaggerated woman.
The two then decide to pretend to be lovers and Carlinhos takes her to the family Christmas dinner. But what seemed like a good idea soon turns into a nightmare.
Released in 2022, the film is an original production of the platform and mixes some romance with good doses of humour.

Another Brazilian Christmas movie from Netflix that is worth giving a chance is this feature film directed by Roberto Santucci and starring Leandro Hassum, Elisa Pinheiro and Danielle Winits.
The plot tells the story of Jorge, a bitter man who hates Christmas day and does everything to avoid celebrating this date. It turns out that on the eve of the holiday he slips off the roof and hits his head. When he wakes up, he realizes that he is experiencing Christmas next year, and this situation repeats itself day after day.
Not knowing how to act and what to do to stop this time jump, Jorge gradually realizes how this strange event serves to teach him a lesson.
In the feature film, Hassum and Winits repeat the successful partnership that began Until luck do us part🇧🇷 Ah, it’s worth mentioning that although the film is a comedy, it also brings good moments of reflection and drama.
3. The Grinch

This children’s film accompanies the grumpy character, the Grinch, who has only one goal at the end of the year: to end Christmas for all the inhabitants of Wholand, by stealing and destroying everything the people own that has any connection with the commemorative date. When she wakes up in the hospital, Sierra realizes she can’t remember anything, not even her name. Without much to do, she goes to the inn of Jake, her savior. And, of course, that in time a romance will emerge between the two.
With some clichés and a consistent plot, the film is a great option for anyone who wants to have a good time at Christmas.
1. Santa’s diary
Who loved to see Justin Hartley play Kevin This is uswill surely be happy to see him back on screen, this time in this Christmas romantic comedy.
In the film he plays Jacob, a successful writer who needs to return to his mother’s city to take care of her belongings after her death. While rummaging through boxes and souvenirs, he meets Rachel, a girl who is looking for his real mother (Noel).
As expected, the two embark on an adventure and end up falling in love. But there’s a problem: Rachel is already engaged to another man.
Starting from a romantic cliché, Santa’s diary offers much more than just a love triangle and differs from the other films, exploring the various layers of the protagonists, Jacob’s relationship with his father and Rachel’s emotion during the search for her biological family. In this way, the film is a Netflix hit that is definitely worth playing.
