Casimiro, recently mistakenly banned from Twitch, has achieved the feat of being the world’s most-watched sports streamer in 2022, the year of the World Cup in Qatar, according to Esports Charts, a website that measures e-sports viewership.

Nearly half of the streamer’s views came during the World Cup. Casimiro’s new channel, CazĂ©TV, broadcast a total of 22 World Cup matches held in Qatar. The streaming rights have been negotiated by FIFA with the company LiveMode, the manufacturer and marketer of the package. This then partnered with YouTube and negotiated various sponsorship fees.
