How did it happen that Darkside, Snyder Coutt’s main antagonist, completely forgot the location of the absolute power he was seeking? His translator Ray Porter tried to answer this question from the fans.
A few thousand years ago, in Zack Snyder’s Justice League, the terrible Darkside tried to destroy the earth by appropriating the anti-life equation, but failed in his attempt to defeat a coalition of humans, Amazons, and Atlanteans.
Yet in the present, when the evildoer tries to act again through Steppenwolf, he seems to have completely forgotten that the infamous equation of life he so desperately wanted is on earth. A major inconsistency that viewers have not noticed and that Ray Porter, Darkseid’s translator, has just tried to explain:

For Ray Porter, Darkside simply visited (and destroyed) too many worlds during his existence to remember especially Earth and, consequently, the anti-life equation.
