An extraordinary new video shows all the beauty of the Earth from space, captured by the panoramic camera of the Chinese space station Tiangong
A video released by China Central Television (CCTV) shows a series of images of the Earth seen from space, more precisely from the Chinese space station Tiangong-3. The beautiful images highlight the exuberant features of our pale blue dot.

The video brings together recent photos taken by the panoramic camera installed there in 2021, when taikonauts on board did the second spacewalk on Tiangong. Primarily used to monitor the station exterior, the camera is sometimes turned towards Earth, capturing beautiful images of the “water planet”.

CCTV took advantage of the video release to highlight the latest activities at the China station, noting that the Tiangong full assembly completed in November, after receiving the last form that was missing from finalization.
With the completion of the facility, the station is now T-shaped, providing more space for scientific research. Incidentally, the science being conducted on Tiangong is promising, as the current three crew members, who arrived there on the Shenzhou-15 mission in late November, brought with them more than 40 experiments to conduct in Earth orbit.
