Gabriel Riva (Joachim Lazko) has been in trouble for several weeks. After receiving a medal from the city for his actions and for his courage during the Blackout, Mistral’s leading doctor saw that his fate had been turned upside down due to a medical error.
During a seemingly benign operation, he removed one of the patients’ incorrect organs, forcing Dr. Vidal (Simon Erlacher) to perform emergency surgery to save his life. The doctor was then fired.
In order to restore the image, Celine offered her an internship as a stretcher. An experience that allowed Gabriel to question himself and especially to reconsider his behavior towards other staff at the hospital.
But in an episode of Plus belle la vie aired this Tuesday, the doctor discovered that he was actually trapped by Anthony, a stretcher that does not carry a surgeon in the heart. Unfortunately, after this discovery, Gabriel Riva could not convince the council doctors of his innocence. He will have to look for evidence to find out his name.
He then persuades Cedric, his former intern, to assist him in the mission. Before the latter distracts Anthony, Gabriel looks for the stretcher machine in which he finds his laptop. It then restores some files on the USB key.
He then finds Thomas, Celine and Cedric to find out what the documents contain. They finally find out the truth: Anthony falsified the operating protocol. He hacked the secretary’s computer to steal the original document and replaced it, unnoticed by the medical secretary. Gabriel Riva finally found evidence of his innocence.
In an excerpt from an episode of Plus belle la vie this Friday, published on the France Télévisions website, Gabriel decides to confront Anthony. In the defense, the stretcher threatens Gabriel with a blow. Fortunately, Eric, who has been warned about the meeting by Thomas, intervenes and stops the young man until he goes too far.
They then take Anthony to the police station. There he admits everything and explains that he falsified the documents in order to take revenge on the doctor who was humiliating him and his colleagues. Dr. Riva’s nightmare is finally over.
