Emblema is the country’s first major football action in 2023
The Italian Football Federation (FIGC) has begun work for 2023 by presenting this Monday (2) the new Scudetto that will be used by the selection.
The change of emblem of the Azzurri takes place after just six years and follows the entry of the German company Adidas as a new sports supplier. Puma, the previous sponsor, stayed with the four-time world champion for 20 years.
“We are ready for the future. With the new Scudetto and a solid identity, created for the first time in history, we are entering a new dimension, but always with the desire and pride of generating extraordinary emotions in all the fans. Those same emotions that helped create the new crest that will mark the shirts, innovating a glorious tradition,” said the president of the institution, Gabriele Gravina, also citing a sort of sound logo that will accompany the shield.

The newly launched Italy national team crest was developed by creative agency Independent Ideas, which oversaw the federation’s rebranding process.
The new cycle in Italy has already begun and should soon be accompanied by the launch of the first uniforms of the union between Azzurra and Adidas.
The year 2023 will be important for the country, as the selection will be involved in qualifying for Euro 2024. The first duels are scheduled for March. .
