With 10mm drivers, its internal speaker system supports Snapdragon Sound and aptX Adaptive, which should ensure superior audio quality and better voice capture. There is also support for hybrid noise cancellation and reduction of unwanted sounds in calls.

It is connected via Bluetooth, supports Fast Pair and pairs two devices simultaneously. The playback controls are on the side and voice commands can be performed with Google Assistant.

The headphones’ casing is IPX5 resistant, while the battery provides up to 26 hours of use with the charging case – this case also supports wireless charging.

After already unveiling the Moto Watch 100 in Brazil last year, Motorola has updated the watch with the fall detection feature. However, it has not achieved major changes in other technical characteristics.

Its structure is characterized by a 1.3-inch circular screen, equipped with IPS LCD technology, a cost reduction compared to other more advanced models, equipped with OLED panels.

It runs on the Moto Watch OS, which is considered simpler than the Wear OS developed by Google. Even so, there is support for 28 sports modes with tracking of various body data.

Other fitness features on the watch include heart rate monitoring and measuring blood oxygen levels. Built-in GPS can increase positioning accuracy, which is useful for integrating with apps like Google Fit and Strava.

The Moto Watch 100 is also water resistant to a depth of 50 meters (5 ATM). Additionally, the system offers six watchface options for the user to choose from.

Since the smartwatch carries a simplified system, more energy saving has been achieved. According to information from Motorola, the smartwatch has a range of up to two weeks without the need for recharging.

Its connectivity is via Bluetooth, with no support for Wi-Fi. It will be sold in Glacier Silver (silver) or Phantom Black (black).

Prices and availability

Both products will be showcased in more detail during CES 2023, which takes place starting this week. However, some pricing and availability details have already been revealed by the brand.

The Moto Watch 100 is available now in Brazil for R$999, but Motorola hasn’t confirmed whether the new version will arrive in the country. The Moto Buds 600 ANC will go on sale starting this month in the US, for US$149 (~R$793).
