Batman: Officially, Colin Farrell will have his own series Penguin on HBO Max

The series about the cult villain of DC, released in December last year, starring Colin Farrell in the movie Batman, was officially commissioned by HBO Max.

Official: Oswald Cobblepot, like Penguin, will be eligible to receive the series on HBO Max, as mentioned in December 2021! The show features Colin Farrell, the translator of the Dark Knight cult antagonist into Matt Reeves Batman, who is currently playing.

This is Lauren Lefrank, the screenwriter who worked on Chuck and Marvel: Agents of Shield, who will be in the office hosting the show and producing the series behind a film starring Robert Pattinson, Matt Reeves and Dylan Clark.

In the feature film, Oz is the only mobster to face mobster Carmine Falcone (John Turturro), and the series explores his rise to the ranks of Gotham’s underworld. In the press releaseColin Farrell – completely unknown in the role and who was not allowed to smoke a cigar on the screen – expressed his admiration for the project:

The world that Matthew Reeves created for Batman deserves a deep look through the eyes of Oswald Cobblepot. I could not have been more excited about continuing this study of Oz as he rises in the dark ranks and becomes a penguin.

It would be nice to have him back on the streets of Gotham with a bit of madness and a bit of a mess.

The actor really liked the series after starring in True Detective Season 2 in 2015 and recently appeared in North Water.

Finally, keep in mind that Penguin is not the only spin-off series from Batman, as the show is also in development in the world of Arkham Shelter. The release date of these projects has not been announced yet.
