Internacional’s executive director of football, William Thomas, commented on the club’s interest in hiring Colombian midfielder Gustavo Cuellar. The leader, however, has cooled the mood of the fans for the former Flamengo player, who currently defends Al-Hilal, from Saudi Arabia.
“Any athlete who has the potential to add value to our work, as an unquestionable name, the company will evaluate based on our economic conditions. We do not intend to compromise the company. At the moment there is nothing advanced, no open negotiations”, William he told the program sports showfrom Radio Gaucha.
“He’s a player who has an important history in Brazilian and international football. We’ll evaluate if it’s possible,” commented the director about Cuellar.
