CinemaCon showed a torrid trailer for Olivia Wilde’s new movie, which is inspired by films like ‘Inception’, ‘The Matrix’ and ‘The Truman Show’

Olivia Wilde has presented at the Las Vegas CinemaCon a first look at her second film as a director after the brilliant ‘Super Nerds’. The trailer, which at the moment is not released openly, shows us several sex scenes between her two protagonists, Styles and Pugh, and numerous disturbing images that They promise a film full of suspense, mystery and passion.

Pugh plays a seemingly happy housewife, but she becomes increasingly suspicious that her husband’s (Styles) glamorous company may be harboring disturbing secrets. He is working on something called “Project Victory” which promises to change the world.“Do you know what Project Victory is? Have you ever asked?”
The more he begins to question his work, the crazier reality around him seems to get. As she grows more incredulous, we see Pugh push himself to the limit: “I don’t trust him and I don’t want to be here anymore“.
Other scenes in the trailer show Styles screaming in a car and then engaging in “intimate activities” with Pugh on a table. They may not trust each other, but according to attendees who were able to watch the trailer, they are all the time give it that I hit you. Director and actress Olivia Wilde shed some light on the idea behind ‘Don’t Worry Darling’, which is inspired by films like ‘Inception’, ‘Matrix’ and ‘The Truman Show’: “My work is a love letter to movies that push the limits of our imagination“.
“I want you to imagine a life where you have everything you could want,” he told attendees. “Not just material, tangible things… Like a beautiful house, perfect weather and beautiful cars. But also the things that really matter, like true love, or the perfect partner, or real trusted friendships and a purpose that feels important. What would it take for you to give up that perfect life? What are you really willing to sacrifice to do the right thing?Wilde asked.Are you willing to dismantle the system you are designed to serve?“
Wilde will accompany Pugh and Styles in the cast, which is completed with Chris Pine, Gemma Chan, KiKi Layne and Nick Kroll. Katie Silverman wrote the script from an original idea of Carey and Shane Van Dyke.
