In 2022 the Ducati won the MotoGP triple crown, with the titles of pilots, builders And teamswhile the honda closed on the lantern Constructors’ World Championship.

“Europeans are more aggressive in their approach to racing, so they’ve established a new way to compete,” said Brivio. “The model is Formula 1, but the focus has changed, tackling races with the aim of having ever more powerful bikes, without stopping moving a stone and continuing to improve,” he assessed.

“Honda and Yamaha go to the track without having precise data. They haven’t fully understood that this MotoGP has nothing to do with the one from 20 years ago,” he said. “There has always been a conservative approach. Before, the changes were small during the season, concentrating a large part of the innovations for the next championship,” reflected Brivio.

“The track team must become an integral part of the MotoGP programme, with great synergy between the manufacturer and whoever is on the track. They no longer have to be two different groups,” he concluded.
