Jeremy Renner remains in “critical but stable” condition after coming out of surgery

Actor Jeremy Renner, ‘Hawkeye’ in Marvel’s UCM, was taken to the hospital after suffering an accident on New Year’s Day.

    The actor Jeremy Renner is hospitalized in critical condition after an accident in the snow, as confirmed by his representative to the main North American media.

    “We can confirm that Jeremy Renner is in a state critical but stable due to injuries after suffering a weather related accident while shoveling snow”, affirms the agent of the interpreter. “His family is with him and he is receiving excellent care.”

    Renner has had to undergo two surgeries for chest trauma and various orthopedic injuriesand remains in the intensive care unit.

    Renner was clearing a road with other neighbors with his snowplow in Washoe County, Nevada, near the city of Reno. The region was the victim this New Year’s Eve of a snow storm that caused 35,000 homes in northern Nevada’s Washoe, Carson, Douglas, Storey and Lyon counties to lose power on New Year’s morning. The vehicle, with caterpillar wheels and a mechanical shovel, accidentally ran over the actor, as reported by TMZ.

    Renner was airlifted to the hospital by helicopter Sunday morning..

    The actor has broken his silence on Instagram wanting to reassure fans with a photo from his hospital bed. “Thank you all for the kind words from him 🙏. I’m too pissed off to write now but I’m sending love to you all.”, wrote.

    Jeremy Renner is recognized worldwide for his role as Hawkeye in Marvel movies and seriesand it has been twice nominated for an Oscar for the films ‘En tierra hostile’ (2010) and ‘The Town (City of thieves)’ (2011). The second season of the series created by Taylor Sheridan ‘Mayor of Kingstown’, his most recent work, has a premiere date this month on Paramount +.
