According to what he said, for the first season of the series he was an “unknown” artist, who was only 23 years old, so when this opportunity came to him he did not hesitate to take it.

However, once he read the scripts for ‘Game of Thrones’, he realized that they included a lot of sex scenes.

Although he felt that this was the “trap” he had cast her in, he decided to go ahead with the project and accept those scenes because he believed that “if they are in the script, they are clearly necessary”.

His inexperience on set also made him believe that he had no “right” to ask for anything, which translated into the fact that he also accepted intimate scenes without complaint. For this reason, Emilia Clarke is one of the actresses who regrets her nude scenes.
