marvel star Jeremy Renner has broken his silence after being injured in an unfortunate accident with a snowplow.
The star of ‘Hawkeye’ shared a photo of himself in a hospital bedalong with a short message to thank his fans for their support since he was injured on Sunday, January 1.
“Thank you all for your kind words 🙏. I’m too pissed off to write now but I’m sending love to you all.”, wrote.
A rep for the actor previously confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter that “We can confirm that Jeremy is in critical but stable condition. with injuries sustained after experiencing a weather-related accident while shoveling snow.”
“His family is with him and he is receiving excellent care.”
Jeremy Renner’s accident occurred on New Year’s Sunday morning at the actor’s home near Mt. Rose-Ski Tahoe, Nevada. The region had been hit by a snow storm during the weekend.
Local public information officer Kristin Vietti added to THR that Renner was the only person involved in the accident, and that The actor was airlifted to the hospital..
On Monday, the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office held a press conference confirming that Renner had been struck by a snowplow while trying to help a relative get to his car..
“We do not believe that Mr. Renner was incapacitated, we believe that this is a tragic accident,” a police spokesman said.
Renner had previously shared images of the area’s weather conditions on his social media accounts, tweeting a photo of a snow-covered car last month.

Renner is known for playing Clint Barton/Hawkeye at the MCUrecently appearing in his own series on Disney+.
The actor is currently starring in the crime thriller ‘Mayor of Kingstown‘, with a second season scheduled to air in the US on January 15.
The actor will also launch his show ‘Rennervations‘ to air on Disney+ this year. The four-part series will see him fixing run-down vehicles and giving them new life for communities in need.
Renner had teased the upcoming series on his Twitter account, writing: “So excited for the holidays and for a NEW show on @DisneyPlus early next year. #rennervations“.
