The Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM) opened two administrative proceedings on Thursday to investigate Americanas, after the retailer announced the night before that it had found “accounting inconsistencies” for 20 billion reais.
The self-sufficiency page indicates that one of the processes is aimed at accounting for the company, while the other will deal with the announcement of the fact itself.
