Another doctor has joined the “BBB 23″ on duty: the latest announced member of the Pipoca group, Amanda Leite is a 31-year-old intensive care doctor, who works on duty at the hospital to pay off student loans and help his family.

It is also said to be completely adaptable to new people, places and situations. “During my childhood, my father was in the military and later worked in a bank. We usually changed cities four times a year. So with that, I always had to learn to adjust,” he recalled.

His interest in medicine emerged at the age of 14, when he lived with his family in Douradina, a city in Paraná that, at the time, had fewer than 6,000 inhabitants. “I had a neighbor who was a doctor and he took me to the hospital. I loved his routine, sitting on a stool talking to patients. I’ve always enjoyed taking care of and treating people.”

By dedicating herself to pursuing this dream, she received the support of the public so that she could study in the best schools. Even if she sacrificed the very bond she had with them. “At the age of 14, I went to live alone in Umuarama with four friends, and that’s where my journey began. I never went hungry, because of what my parents went through to keep me there “, He says.
