In the process, he gets promoted at work and even finds a new love, Allison, played by Zooey Deschanel.
Despite dividing the critics, Yes sir turned out to be a huge success with the public, grossing $223.2 million with a budget of “only” $70 million. For Carrey, the reverted amount was US$ 35 million (via Business Insider), making it one of the biggest paydays of Jim Carrey’s career, to date.
