Netflix has canceled the superhero series starring Marvel after two seasons

Following the release of its 2 seasons last February, the series How to Grow a Superhero has finally been canceled by Netflix. A surprising choice that comes after the platform’s budget cuts, following a wave of subscription cancellations. However, this adaptation of Dennis Lewis and Jason Piperberg comics has gained some success in the community, even climbing to the top of the rankings.

Not related to Marvel Studios or DC Comics, fiction – by name Raising Dion In the original version – tells the story of a widowed mother who tries to raise a 7-year-old son endowed with her extraordinary powers. Appreciated by young people, but also by elders, the series had an emphasis on such essential themes as harassment, racism or even disability.

One of the stars of the show, actor Sam Hannie, who has brittle bone disease, said on his Instagram:It is unfortunate that I declare how to raise a superhero canceled.
