It all starts here on Monday, May 2nd…
Hortens wakes up next to Mehdi. In a cheerful mood, she prepares to fall in love with him, but Mehdi stops her and admits that she fears she will be disgusted because of her weight. Hortens explains to her that her bulimia has nothing to do with how she sees him and calms him down.
When they start work, Enzo enters the room with a bag and surprises them. In class he slams Tom, who surprised Hortens with Mehdi into bed, which in his eyes denies his discomfort. If he feels so bad about his body, why spend a good time with his girlfriend? Tommy agrees with him.
After listening to their conversation, Claire decides to tell the students’ “I” about their classmate. So he invites the whole class to explain to them that the bulimia that Hortensia suffers from is a real illness, even if it looks good on the outside. He then reveals that he himself suffered from bulimia as a child and therefore understands well what causes Hortensia and why this disease is so difficult to diagnose.
With the help of his father he then goes to visit the young girl and offers to start treatment at the medical center and not to neglect her suffering. He himself was in the hospital for six months when he was young and this greatly helped him in his recovery. But Hortens is in a panic over the idea of missing classes at the Armand Institute for several months.
He will then take a live broadcast on the social network to send a message to the students. He apologizes to them after handing over his intimate vlog and reveals their intention to go to a specialized center for treatment. He concludes the message by greeting his comrades and telling them how much he loves and admires them.
He then realizes that his live closing is happening, that all the students have gathered in front of him to show their support. Mehdi, Lionel, Kelly, Tommy, and others then vow to help him escape illness as best they can, and will be surrounded by collective hugs.
Hortens then tells his father and Claire that he no longer wants to go to the clinic: thanks to the support of friends, he knows he can count on them in difficult times.
After discovering Jasmine’s jealousy, when she surprises him in the kitchen with Axel and helps him with his unopened meringues, Salome decides to be honest with Taysie’s nephew. When the latter asks her to help him work on the cut mushroom, which he finds quite embarrassing, Salome refuses.
She explains to Axel that she feels uncomfortable with Jasmine, who obviously has feelings for her. After the scene of the previous day, he sees that he is reluctant to spend time with him, at the risk of provoking his anger.
Carelessly hit Axel admits he suspected Jasmine was attracted to him, but did not think he was so obsessed. Surprised, Salome asks if she feels anything for him, and Axel replies that he appreciates working with her, but nothing more. Salome then urges him to talk to her to clarify.
During a Teyssier pastry lesson, students unwind as the prom night approaches. Some show each other costume ideas, while others listen to favorite songs to play on the playlist, while Salome and Anais list their buffet food supplies together. Angry, the director warns them that the dough recipe he has prepared may fail the end-of-year tests – all actions together – if they continue to be so focused.
After class, Celia will take Eliot, Greg, Amber and Theo to the salt marshes to choose a light costume for the big night. Her grandmother gives them access to a supply of vintage clothing from her collection.
If Amber chooses pop clothes with a sophisticated jumpsuit, Theo shows no enthusiasm for fittings and is content with a sober attire with a tie chosen by Greg. The latter, who was ridiculed by friends for choosing clothes, is advised by Celia’s grandmother, who lends her a beautiful vintage striped suit.
Celia, after all, shines in a vintage lined dress. But before everyone is happy about the celebration approaching, Jasmine tells them a terrible story: a village hall that is supposed to host a ball at the end of the year has been damaged by water. The whole organization is falling apart …
