Soon-to-be-parents Alec and Hilaria Baldwin spent Thursday evening in the Lenox Hill Emergency Room in Manhattan, New York, with their 6-year-old son, Raphael Thomas. The boy suffered a serious fracture of his arm while playing with his peers in the park. The Baldwins learned about the incident at a distance – the doctors called them from the emergency room.
We weren’t with him when it happened. A call from which the heart stops, and a quiet voice on the other end of the wire: “I want to go to my mommy …”. And even when you realize that the ride is only 20 minutes, this time seems like an eternity. We are never ready for this.
After the hospital, the parents took Rafael home and made him a bed on their floor so as not to leave the child unattended. All night the boy moaned in pain and called for his mother.
In his sleep, he constantly muttered something like: “I broke my arm.” We are glad that he is with us, and although this is a long road to recovery, we will definitely go through it,” Hilaria wrote.
In addition to Raphael, 64-year-old Alec Baldwin and 38-year-old Hilaria Baldwin have a 13-month-old daughter Maria Lucia Victoria and an 8-year-old daughter Carmen, as well as sons – Leonardo Angel Charles, 5, Romeo Alejandro David, 3, and 18- monthly Eduardo Pao Lucas. Earlier in late March, Hilaria announced that she was expecting another baby. For Alec, the child will be the eighth: the actor has an adult daughter from Kim Basinger.
Recall that last week, law enforcement agencies found those responsible for the shooting involving Alec Baldwin on the set of the film “Rust”. The tragedy on the set occurred in the fall of 2021. Alex Baldwin injured two people – the cameraman and the director. 44-year-old Galina Hutchins died, and Joel Sous was soon discharged from the hospital with a wound to the collarbone. As it turned out later, the sham weapon was loaded with live homemade cartridges. Baldwin admitted that he was having a hard time with the tragedy and that he was ready to cooperate with the investigation.
