Film company Warner Bros. Entertainment has officially announced the sequel to The Batman directed by Matt Reeves. Robert Pattinson will reprise his role as Bruce Wayne. The statement about this was made the day before as part of another fan festival CinemaCon. The first frame from the movie “Barbie” with Margot Robbie was also shown there.
Director Matt Reeves confirmed that he would write the script and direct the sequel himself, but did not disclose other details.

Recall that the first part of the reboot of “Batman” tells about the formation of a superhero and his early years of fighting crime. The hero finds himself in a corrupt city where the police cover up the villains, and no one dares to challenge the bandits. Edward Nygma, nicknamed the Riddler, acted as the villain in the tape. Robert Pattinson was cast in the lead role, and his co-star was ZoĆ« Kravitz, who played Catwoman. At preparing for the role of Pattinson did a colossal job and even kept a diary of Bruce Wayne, the first in the history of the film franchise.
world premiere “Batman” took place on March 4th. The picture was never released in Russia, however, it collected $759 million worldwide and is still considered the highest grossing film of 2022. In mid-April, the film was officially released online, and in the first week on HBO Max, the film was watched by just over 4 million households. This is the second indicator in the history of the service, the first – at “Mortal Kombat” (4.3 million). Also on this indicator, “Batman” overtook “Dune” (2.3 million) and “Justice League Zack Snyder” (2.2 million).
