The production title of the sequel joker will apparently stick to the film’s 2019 Shakespearean naming convention. After the first film used the “Romeo” title during its production, Joker: Folie à Deux appears to use the working title of “Juliet”, a reference to William Shakespeare’s play, Cheese and guava.
The information was revealed by a Reddit user, who submitted an image of a logo printed on glass, presumably from somewhere in the film, with the word “Juliet” and a couple dancing.
