We review the keys and secrets of the spectacular trailer for season 3 of ‘The Mandalorian’, the return of the best Star Wars series on Disney+.
The crazy adventures of Din Djarin and Grogu are back, the odd couple that has made Disney+ pay off the purchase of Star Wars without a doubt and have us all, Jedi acolytes and galactic disbelievers, pending all the secrets of the trailer for season 3 of ‘The Mandalorian’.
And it is that since George Lucas told us the story of how a humidity farmer traveled to the ends of space to save the universe from the tyranny of the Empire in ‘Star Wars’ (1977), everything has been getting complicated for a while. Little in terms of details. After remembering the chronological order of the Star Wars movies and series, analyzing each frame of this promising advance willing to show you what (we think) will be the fundamental keys to season 3 of ‘The Mandalorian’.
mandalore is the way
There is no going back, the third season is clearly focused on the mandalorian mandalorian and the revival of the town to which our protagonist belongs, which seems to be recruiting followers. “Our people are scattered,” he says. “What do we stand for?”
Along the way we will return to Mandalore itself, devastated after the Great Purge, since the trailer allows us to see the ruins of the capital, Sundari, where we hope to meet Bo-Katan again and that Mando is “forgiven for my transgressions”that is, by removing the helmet.
Nevarro has changed (for the better)
We knew Nevarro as the official center of bounty hunter rackets but, Now that the reformed Greef Karga seems to have become the leader of the place, everything has changed..
Teeming with life of all kinds, we even see a Kowakian living life hanging from a tree. Yes, we are talking about that kind of monkey goblin that we met thanks to poor Salacious Crumb, Jabba’s official jester and enemy of C-3PO’s eyes.
Is Nevarro now a kind of sanctuary?
Order 66, past and future?
Possibly due to a Grogu flashback, the trailer shows us a moment in which the Jedi temple was attacked when Order 66 was activatedthat hidden protocol in the clones that made them turn against the masters and their apprentices.
In the plane we see different Jedi waiting for an enemy to go through the doors of the temple, could it be Anakin himself? Will we see this massacre through Grogu’s eyes?
In one way or another, the trailer is generous with Coruscant since we see the galactic capital also in the present with a shot in which we distinguish Doctor Pershing, that obscure imperial scientist who was looking for Grogu’s blood to implement it in cloning experiments and, thus, create new Sith Lords possessors.
The kindness of Mando, who spared Pershing’s life when he begged for forgiveness, may cost the galaxy dearly…
