Avatar 3 will bring back Payakan and his Nemesis Scoresby

It would be accurate to describe James Cameron’s long-awaited sci-fi sequel Avatar: the path of water like, well, like a whale of a cinematic moment, and it’s rarely more visually resplendent than when it turns its (largely virtual) lens on Payakan. The majestic and colossal “Tulkun” who befriends Jake and Neytiri’s son Lo’ak has become a fan favorite, not only gaining sympathy for his tragic backstory, but also a bit of a Serious recom in the final coil. He even gets his own ultra-grappable villain, Mick Scoresby played by Brendan Cowell, throughout the film: a hunter who cut a deal selling Tulkun’s life-extending brain for huge financial gain.

The good news for Avatars fan is that there will be more Payakan coming in the next one avatars 3. According to producer Jon Landau, he will return and play in a deeper capacity than in water path. “We see Payakan as a character, not just a creature,” she says.
