The Attorney General of the Union (AGU) has asked the Justice to extend the freeze on the assets of people and companies involved in the actions that led to the invasion and looting of the headquarters of the Three Powers in Brasilia to 18.5 million reais on January 8.
The request, according to the AGU, derives from the fact that the new reports bring adequate values for the damage caused to the Palácio do Planalto and to the buildings of the Federal Supreme Court (STF) and the National Congress.
Last week the Federal Court of the Federal District had complied with the request of the institution and determined the blocking of 6.5 million reais to 52 people and seven companies suspected of supporting the costs of the rental of the buses for acts of invasion and depredation of the seats of the Powers.
