Kevin Feige Responds to Criticisms That Slam Marvel Movies

In a podcast, Kevin Feige commented on how many critics do not understand the proposals of Marvel films

In the first years of marvel cinematic universe (MCU), the franchise commanded by Kevin Feige introduced a formula into films that won over many fans. However, this formula is used frequently and has started to attract a lot of criticism – and Feige has spoken out about it.

During participation in Wakanda Forever: The Official Black Panther Podcastthe executive spoke with the producer Nate Moore, Ryan Coogler (director of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever After) and screenwriter Joe Robert Cole. In production, they said that criticism is often unfair and many people do not understand the proposal of the MCU.

“There were some people who couldn’t make it past a four-color, two-dimensional printed story,” he said. Kevin Feige. “You know, they just couldn’t do it. Just like today, I dare say. People who can’t get over a genre story or something that’s in space, or people who can breathe underwater. ‘No, it doesn’t stop. me.'”

Then, Nate Moore quoted the controversial phrase of Martin Scorsese when criticizing the cinematographic productions of the Marvel: “‘This is a theme park,’ but really, we’re just leaning on the creators who came before us, who laid the groundwork for all of this.”
