Kitty asks Fez why his relationship with Jackie ended and he tells her that it all happened very shortly after the events of last season while they were on vacation in Jamaica.
Fez tells her that he was on a trip and overheard Jackie talking to Kelso on the phone and she immediately went to Wisconsin to be with him.
Fez stayed five more days at the holiday complex after Jackie left him, he even says he got kicked out of the hot tub for talking too much, surely expressing his girlfriend’s departure.
Jackie and Fez’s Breakup Makes No Sense on ‘That ’90s Show’
While it’s understandable that Jackie and Fez would end their relationship at some point, doing so almost immediately after the end of ‘That ’90s Show’ doesn’t make a lot of sense.
Since “That ’90s Show” is set in 1995, Jackie and Kelso’s son Jay is about 16 years old, but that means he had to be born in 1979, meaning Jackie became a mother very soon after leaving of Fez.
The times would have to be very tight for this to happen, plus the fact that Jackie in the original series was always careful not to get pregnant, so having a child with Kelso so quickly goes against her character.
