Apple TV + showed the first frames of the multi-episode anthology “Extrapolations”. It also became known that the first three episodes of the series will appear on the streaming service on March 17. The remaining five will be published weekly. Meryl Streep, Kit Harington, Marion Cotillard and Sienna Miller can be seen in the published pictures from the first season of the show.
Extrapolation’s extensive all-star cast also includes Tobey Maguire, Edward Norton, Gemma Chan, Asa Gonzalez, Matthew Reese, Keri Russell, Tahar Rahim, David Schwimmer, Forest Whitaker and many more. Scott Z. Burns, the author of Steven Soderbergh’s pandemic thriller Contagion, is the head writer, director and executive producer of the project.
The series is set in the near future, where climate change has affected daily life and humanity is struggling to survive. The show consists of eight different stories that are intertwined. The show “Extrapolation” tells unique stories about love, work, faith and family and shows the fateful decisions the characters have to make in order to survive.
Three-time Oscar winner Meryl Streep has joined the cast of the crime-comedy series The Building Murders. The third season of the show will air on the streaming service Hulu later this year. Who exactly Streep will play has not yet been reported.
