Midfielder Danilo, a former Palmeiras player, made his debut this Saturday for the Nottingham Forest team, in a duel against Bournemouth, at the Vitality Stadium. The match, valid for the 21st round of the English Premier League, ended in a 1-1 draw.
The Brazilian started the match on the bench, but was called up in the first half, just before half-time for the break. He was on the pitch throughout the finals and helped his side, who were trailing in the table, to a draw.
Even in his first appearance, Danilo has already presented good numbers: he was fouled, made a pass that led to a finish, disarmed a ball and hit 23 of the 24 touches he attempted.
Another former Verdão athlete, Gustavo Scarpa, also attended the match. He came on for Mangala, 15 minutes into the second half, but had a decent performance.
