The series ‘Outlander’ will have an eighth and final season, but it will not be the end of the franchise…
We are still waiting for ‘Outlander’ season 7, but we already have official confirmation that the series will reach an eighth season that will end the romance between Claire (Caitriona Balfe) and Jamie (Sam Heughan) created in novels Diana Gabaldon. Although your universe will continue in a spin-off in the form of a prequel, ‘Outlander: Blood of my blood’ which will tell the love story of Jamie Fraser’s parents, Ellen MacKenzie and Brian Fraser.
“Jamie and Claire’s television history may be coming to a close with season eight, but Diana continues her literary journey in her wonderful book series and is diligently working on book ten. With Jamie and Claire, and now Brian and Ellen, there’s still so much more to come in the ‘Outlander’ universe.and we can’t wait to continue sharing these stories with our fans,” said the showrunner of the series. After season 7, the longest in the history of the series Since its first season premiered between 2014 and 2015, ‘Outlander’ will continue in an eighth and final season that will close one of the best love series on television today.

Season 7 of ‘Outlander’ will premiere in summer 2023while the eighth is expected in mid/late 2024.
