Part of A24’s horror franchise, MaXXXine is also set in the same universe as Pearl.
Actress of productions like nymphomaniac (2013) and A Cure for Wellness (2016), Mia Goth began to receive great prominence from Hollywood and public with acclaimed performances in X – The Mark of Death and pearl, films released in 2022 that are part of the same franchise. Now, she has revealed what to expect from the third and (probably) last feature in the trilogy, titled MaXXXine.
In MaXXXine, Goth will reprise the role of Maxine seen in X – The Mark of Death (in pearlset 60 years before she played the title character), and the protagonist now plans to become an actress in 1980s Los Angeles to achieve worldwide stardom.
Hollywood here she comes.

Both productions produced by A24 were widely acclaimed, and there’s a lot of anticipation to see the conclusion in the third chapter. During an interview with Variety, Goth talked about different aspects of his career, such as his participation in the horror saga led by Ti West.
“By far, [MaXXXine tem] the best script of the three. It will be the best movie. We’re all so tight right now. This will be our third feature that we’re working on together and everyone is coming back together so we’re getting the band back together.”
“We just have a shortcut with each other. We know how everyone works and we’re all really excited,” he continued. Mia Goth. “It’s the biggest story of the three with the highest stakes and Maxine Been through a lot at this point.”
So when we meet her in this new world, she’s just a force to be reckoned with and goes on some pretty wild adventures.
Next, the actress was asked if the filming of MaXXXine will take place later in 2023, and she responded, “Yeah, I’m studying the script, doing my homework, getting everything ready. Then you let it all go as soon as it starts to set and just hope that some magic comes out of it.”
