Actress Gina Lollobrigida starred in more than 60 films in her career
Gina LollobrigidaItalian actress, died aged 96, as reported by Splash UOL. She was hospitalized in Rome, but cause of death has not been disclosed by the family so far.
Lollobrigida participated in productions such as The Hunchback of Notre Dame (1956), When September Comes (1961) and Nights of Love, Days of Confusion (1968). During the 1950s and 1960s, she worked with illustrious figures such as Frank Sinatra and Humphrey Bogart.
There were more than 60 films starring the actress. Ginny had her work recognized in Hollywood and earned a star on the Walk of Fame in 2018.
As pointed out by the website on the small screen, Lollobrigida moved away from film sets in the 1990s, but continued working on other artistic fronts. She was also a photographer and sculptor. In 2022, she announced her candidacy for the Italian Senate.
