Who Was Fenton On “That ’70s Show”?
‘That ’90s Show’ featured several characters who appeared on ‘That ’70 Show’, including Fenton (played by Jim Rash).
In the original program he first appeared in episode seven of the fifth season, called “Hot Dog”. He was the clerk at the jewelry store where Eric bought Donna an engagement ring.
After that he became a recurring character in the series and one of Fez’s biggest enemies, as they used to argue every chance they got.
On “That ’70s Show” he quit working at the jewelry store and became an apartment owner. More specifically, he owned the place where Fez and Kelso (and later Fez and Jackie) lived in seasons 7 and 8 of the show.
He was characterized by his exaggerated and somewhat rude attitude. He also had a “crush” of sorts with Jackie, who he treated much better than Fez.

In “That ’90s Show” (a series that has an inconsistency noticed by “That ’70s Show” fans), Jim Rash brought his well-known character back to life.
In it, it was explained that Fenton became the owner of the house where Sherri Runck and her two children, Gwen and Nate, live, previously occupied by Donna Pinciotti and her family.
Not only that, but he now owns “3 other houses, a duplex and a Dippin’ Dots” and has become so rich that he has a TV in his bathroom.

Fez explains that the start of the controversy “was about a half-price sale, a full parking lot and a pair of pants” that made her butt “look like an oil painting.”
Although this initial feud was never fully explained, what is certain is that their feud followed them all the way to ‘That ’90s Show’, where Fez finally gave in to please his new girlfriend Sherri.
