The Okko online cinema has published a trailer for a new multi-part biographical film Chaliapin, a large-scale project from the creators of the film hits Grozny, Sofia and Godunov by the Moskino film studio. The role of Fyodor Ivanovich Chaliapin was played by Alexander Gorbatov. His partners on the site were Yulia Snigir, Maria Smolnikova, Alexander Yatsenko, Fedor Dobronravov and others. The director of the project was Yegor Anashkin.
The series is dedicated to the dramatic fate of the legendary opera singer Fyodor Ivanovich Chaliapin, who became a symbol of national culture at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. A contradictory, stormy time, an era that contained an irreconcilable split, a premonition of a civil war and an unprecedented rise in Russian art that conquered the whole world – these are the central themes of the new serial film.
The premiere of the series “Chaliapin” will take place on the air of the Rossiya TV channel and the Okko online cinema on February 13.
