Singer and actress Lady Gaga posted a post thanking the Academy for her song “Hold My Hand”. Top Gun: nonconformisthaving been nominated for an Oscar, and at the same time seems to have confirmed the start of filming on the film joker 2.
The actress will star in the film as Harley Quinn, opposite Joaquin Phoenix’s Arthur Fleck. After receiving an Academy Award nomination for Best Original Song, Gaga took to Instagram to celebrate the news. “Thank you so much to the Academy for nominating my song ‘Hold My Hand’ for an Oscar this year! Write this song for the movie Top Gun: nonconformist it was a profound and powerful experience that I will never forget. I am so thankful for the magic of music and film,” the caption reads.
Then the actress apparently confirms that she works hard joker 2: “Love you my co-writer Bloodpop, I’m on set right now with so much love for little monsters!” Closing the message was a single emoji: a wild card.
The details of the plot joker 2 they’re firmly under wraps for now, but the movie is supposed to be a musical. Brendan Gleeson and Catherine Keener have been cast in the sequel, with Zazie Beetz reprising her role as Sophie, Arthur’s neighbor. A first image of Phoenix has been released, and it’s suitably scary. We’ll have to wait a little longer to see what Lady Gaga’s Harley Quinn looks like.
joker 2 appears to be unaffected by the current changes at DC after James Gunn and Peter Safran took over the studio.
Joker: Folie à Deux will be released in theaters in October 2024.
